ABOUT THIS CAREGIVING AND MEMORY CARE HELPER JOB
As a full-time Caregiving and Memory Care Helper in our Memory Care Unit, you'll have a stable, set schedule, with two shift options :
- Option 1 : Sunday - Tuesday 6 am - 6 pm and Wednesday 6 am - 12 pm
- Option 2 : Wednesday 12 pm - 6 pm and Thursday - Saturday 6 am - 6 pm
- Option 3 : Overnight 10 pm to 10 am.
In our Memory Care Unit, every day brings a chance to make our residents feel safe, happy, and cared for. You'll be assisting residents with daily activities like bathing, grooming, and meal preparation, always with a friendly smile and gentle hand.
You'll ensure their environment is cozy and secure, providing peace of mind for both them and their families. Engaging residents in activities that bring joy and stimulate their minds is all part of the job-whether you're sharing stories, laughing over a game, or helping with simple tasks, your caring presence will make each day brighter.
Would you excel in this position? Here's what you need :
- Caregiver certification, with a focus on memory care needs
- CPR and first aid certification
- Current food handler's card
- Physical ability to assist with mobility, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude toward residents
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
