Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITES AND DUTIES
Financial Management & Reporting :
- Accurately record, report, and analyze financial data across various business units
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business growth
Accounting & Compliance :
Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questionsDevelop and maintain internal controls and accounting policiesEnsure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Prepare and file taxes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessHandle all insurance policies related to properties and business operationsOperations & Payroll :
Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and complianceCollect and manage receivablesPrepare, review, and process invoices, ensuring timely paymentsManage vendor and client payoutsBusiness Intelligence & Data Analysis :
Analyze financial performance data, including payroll, mileage, laundry, and rental incomeDeliver insights that impact decision-making and operational efficiencyConduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and business opportunitiesTraining & Development :
Provide training and develop resources for staff on financial processes and best practicesStay up to date on industry trends and regulatory changesREQUIREMENTS
Experience :
5 years of experience in accounting or financeMastery of QuickBooks, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications is a must!Knowledge of Google Docs is a plusExperience with business intelligence and financial reporting tools is a plusReal Estate experience is a plusSkills & Competencies :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a small, fast-paced team environmentHighly adaptable and proactive in identifying and resolving financial challengesEducation & Certifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCPA, CFA, or CISA certification preferred but not requiredADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
