What are the responsibilities and job description for the Underground Drop Bury Technician position at Legacy Installations, LLC?
Legacy Installations, LLC is looking for experienced Drop Bury crews or individual operators in and around New New Kent, VA, working with Cox Communications burying mostly fiber drops.
Competitive Pay: Jobs are paid on a piecework rate, and the rates are based on job type. A full-time individual operator can average anywhere from $3,000-$8,000/wk based on the number of drops you can complete.
Requirements:
- Experienced in Telecom Drop Bury work
- Drop Bury machine (Plow, Vibrator, trencher)
- Must have the ability to bore (sidewalks, driveways, and roads)
- Shovel, Hand digging tools
- Basic coax and fiber prep tools
- Truck, Van, or SUV (no cars allowed)
- must be able to pass a background check
- must be able to pass a drug screening
