Job Summary:
We’re seeking a temporary, Summer Inside Sales Associate to support our team during the busy summer months. This role will involve a mix of customer service, inventory management, and general shop duties. You’ll be a key part of our team, helping us provide top-notch service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with in-person sales of irrigation parts, concrete tools, and supplies.
- Help manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking items.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and telehandlers.
- Use hand and power tools for tasks like pressing pipe fittings and assembling hoses.
- Help troubleshoot customer issues and find solutions.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate concrete dye mixing machines as needed.
Qualifications:
- Good customer service skills and a problem-solving attitude.
- Basic computer and typing skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (trailer towing experience a plus).
- Forklift/telehandler experience preferred.
