Lawn Maintenance Technician M-F 8-5

Legacy Lawn & Landscape is looking for dedicated and responsible Lawn Maintenance Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, is self motivated, and is able to work independently and in a group.

The Lawn Maintenance Technician will ensure the proper care of all aspects of the Landscape.

You will be required to get a DOT Medical card. It is required to drive and pull a company truck and trailer. To get the medical card you are required to do a drug screen, have a full medical physical and eye test done by a Medical Dr. at Work Med. If hired you will need to do this before you start work, and must have a Valid Driver License

Experience preferred but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in a fast pace environment
• Must be able to operate lawn maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, etc.
• Remove weeds and dead plants, prune over grown limbs and leaves
• Operate string trimmer and edger to remove overgrowth and keep outdoor area tidy
• Use leaf blower to clear walkways and pedestrian areas after lawn maintenance
• Maintain the existing landscaping design and ensure plant survival
• Rake fallen leaves, pick up trash, and remove debris
• Remove tree limbs, overgrowth, and other hazards
• Properly store and operate all equipment, tools, etc.
• Clean and maintain all equipment after use on a daily or weekly basis
• Report any issues with equipment to supervisor or management immediately
• Leave Clients property better that it was when you arrived.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Ability to Follow Detailed Instructions
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
• Previous experience in landscaping or ground maintenance preferred but not required
• Must pass pre employment drug test
• Must be 18 years of age
• Able to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to be outside all day and being prepared for any kind of elements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
