Legacy Lifecare is seeking a Data Analyst/Data Engineer to join its team of talented individuals.
Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Operational Strategy, the analyst will deliver data driven insights into Legacy Lifecare's business and operations. The analyst will collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders, analyzing all areas of the business from sourcing to warehousing and output. The analyst will gather requirements, measure business performance, and provide strategic decision-making support in the form of dashboards and reports. The analyst will maintain and evolve the entire business intelligence system including infrastructure and implementation, integrating data systems and data structures across the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, design and implement internal process improvements of infrastructure for greater scalability, optimization of data delivery, and automation of manual processes
- Develop analytical tools and data structures to provide actionable insights into key business metrics such as operational efficiency, financial viability, and others
- Design, develop and support high-quality dashboard visualizations which provide a consistent user experience and highlight key data elements determined by stakeholders
- Work with & guide stakeholders, including executive, clinical, financial, and operational teams, to support them in crafting a data plan, determining how and what metrics to utilize, and deliver on those plans to provide the organization with meaningful data driven insights
- Provide stakeholders assistance with data-related technical issues
- Follow established design and data standards, resolve data issues, conduct unit testing, and complete functional and technical documentation
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelors required, graduate degree preferred, in information systems, informatics, statistics, computer science or another quantitative field.
- 3 years of experience with Business Intelligence (specifically Power BI), analysis, and requirements gathering required, preferably within healthcare industry
- Demonstrated understanding and experience using software and tools for coding, data warehousing, ETL, and database administration
- Experience with SQL required and Knime highly desirable
- Expertise in querying, manipulating data, extracting desired information, performing data analysis and troubleshooting data integrity issues
- Strong visualization and usability design skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) data and compliance regimes in the healthcare industry preferred
- Ability to function independently while managing multiple priorities and flexibility with shifting priorities
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills and a history of effectively working and communicating with all levels of internal and external technical and non-technical staff

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
