We are seeking three (3) FOIA Specialists to support the Executive Office of the President (EOP) and the United States Department of Government Efficiency Services (USDOGE) in processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and providing document review services. Due to an increase in FOIA requests and litigation, our specialists will play a critical role in document management, legal research, and government compliance. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, familiarity with FOIA exemptions, and proficiency in handling large volumes of electronic records.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and process FOIA requests in accordance with 5 U.S.C. § 552.
- Conduct document review, redaction, and apply FOIA exemptions (primarily Exemptions 5 & 6).
- Identify, analyze, and remove duplicative materials within large data sets.
- Utilize e-Discovery tools such as NUIX Discovery, FOIAXpress, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Assist in FOIA litigation, including preparing Vaughn indices, declarations, affidavits, and evidence.
- Support document requests from Congress and other federal entities.
- Track workload, submit reports, and update FOIA production logs.
- Maintain compliance with the Presidential Records Act and Federal Records Act.
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship (Required).
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Law, or related field) OR equivalent industry experience.
- At least one (1) year of experience processing FOIA requests (J.D. may substitute for experience).
- Experience working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with electronic document management, records organization, and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior FOIA experience in a federal agency.
- Familiarity with e-Discovery tools (NUIX, FOIAXpress, Ringtail).
- Experience handling litigation support, redaction processes, and legal research.
