Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of Legacy Manor of Cedar Rapids. Legacy Manor of Cedar Rapids is designed for Seniors 62 years of age and older. The property consists of 30 one bedroom and 30 two bedroom apartments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property leasing, facilities management, and customer service. This role requires excellent organizational skills, able to multi task and a commitment to maintaining high standards of property maintenance. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction while maximizing the value of the property under your care.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units and conducting tenant screenings.
- Oversee property maintenance and coordinate repairs with contractors and maintenance staff.
- Implement policies for property management to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Handle tenant inquiries, concerns, and conflicts in a professional manner to maintain positive relationships.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive prices.
- Maintain accurate records of leases, tenant communications, maintenance requests, and financial transactions.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety standards and upkeep.
Skills
- LIHTC Experience
- Strong knowledge of property leasing practices and facilities management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficient in office management tasks including filing, documentation, and record keeping.
- Understanding of relevant laws pertaining to property management and tenant rights.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal to interact with tenants, vendors, and team members.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
