ROLE
Legacy Marketing is seeking an Assistant Account Executive to join the corporate events and marketing team. This role will assist in the planning and management of a variety of client programs and marketing campaigns including incentive trips, trainings, tradeshows, meetings, retail advertising campaigns and more. The position will help build and strengthen internal and Client relationships while being closely involved in the programming details.
RESPONISIBILITIES
- Provide support to the account team in managing client programs including all day-to-day activity associated with the account
- Daily management and oversight of program registration inclusive of travel logistics, attendee communication, group app integration and data crosschecking
- Assist with all elements of planning, execution, and wrap up of client events and campaigns
- Assist in managing and tracking budgets; monitor all expenditures to stay within budget parameters; communicate necessary changes with account team
- Management of multiple vendors including daily communication, program orders and invoice tracking and processing
- Manage inventory of company and program assets; includes managing offsite storage unit along with storage rooms at the office
- Management of concierge inbox and phone; professional written and oral communication to be maintained across all active client programs
- Responsible for updating weekly internal status reports
- Proactively approach and anticipate internal and external concerns and maintain level of flexibility to quickly respond to changing client demands
- Actively engage in the onsite event execution as applicable to ensure brand standards, legal guidelines and client expectations are met
- Participate in brainstorms, provide input on trends and competitor activity
- Be a reliable and knowledgeable resource for account team and other departments who are involved across applicable programming
- Suggest and manage applicable metrics for measuring success of programs
- Assist in preparation for client presentations
- Some client interaction and client services required
REQUIREMENTS
- 0-2 years experience in marketing, promotions, PR, event planning or related field; agency or corporate marketing experience preferred
- Intermediate level Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Google platforms
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with keen attention to detail and thorough follow through
- Flexible, willing to work non-traditional hours, including some nights and weekends; ability to travel
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
- Social, outgoing; able to network, develop and maintain relationships
- Knowledge of event planning, technology, digital, mobile, social and emerging trends a plus
- Self motivated team player
- Bachelors Degree required (Communications or Marketing preferred but not required)
SALARY & BENEFITS
- $40,000-$42,000/Year - An employees pay position within the salary range is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance & travel requirements.
