Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric care, demonstrating expertise in managing the health and wellness of children from infancy through adolescence. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients, including physical examinations and health histories.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs, including discharge planning for ongoing care.
  • Administer vaccinations and perform procedures such as injections, dermal fillers, and botulinum toxin treatments as needed.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Triage patient concerns effectively, determining the urgency of care required.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings, including nursing homes and ER environments, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, maintaining accurate medical records.
  • Engage in memory care practices for pediatric patients with developmental challenges or chronic conditions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner studies or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or eligibility for certification.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology relevant to pediatric care.
  • Experience administering injections and performing minor procedures is preferred.
  • Familiarity with toddler care principles and practices is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating strong organizational skills.

Pay: $167,702.00 - $181,500.00 per year
