Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients, including physical examinations and health histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs, including discharge planning for ongoing care.
- Administer vaccinations and perform procedures such as injections, dermal fillers, and botulinum toxin treatments as needed.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Triage patient concerns effectively, determining the urgency of care required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings, including nursing homes and ER environments, to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, maintaining accurate medical records.
- Engage in memory care practices for pediatric patients with developmental challenges or chronic conditions.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Nurse Practitioner studies or equivalent experience.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or eligibility for certification.
- Strong knowledge of physiology relevant to pediatric care.
- Experience administering injections and performing minor procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with toddler care principles and practices is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
