POSITION SUMMARY:
The Front Desk Sales Associate will be the first point of contact for our company. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and visitors. It requires a warm and welcoming demeanor, coupled with an efficient handling of administrative and sales tasks. This role is crucial in creating a positive and lasting impression of our company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain a professional, friendly appearance and atmosphere.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
- Answer customer questions and explain our building products and services.
- Answer phones, email, and other electronic media and greet customers in person.
- Maintain product and services knowledge.
- Enter transactions, quotes, invoices and perform other general activities into designated programs.
- Complete phone and counter sales, accurately and timely.
- Operate a credit card machine and maintain a cash drawer.
- Direct customers to materials and services that meet their needs.
- Conducts light housekeeping throughout the building and maintains refreshments in customer area.
- Maintain a smooth and coordinated material delivery schedule. Assist in loading customer vehicles and retrieving building materials when necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred.
- Maintain empathy and tact with co-workers and customers.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- One year's experience in customer services.
- Computer proficient, including knowledge of Microsoft Office software, primarily Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Effective communication and active listening styles to promote teamwork and collaboration.
Legacy Metals LLC offers competitive wages contingent upon experience, education, and skills. Starting rate for this role is $14.00/hr.
This is an in-office position with an anticipated schedule of Monday - Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.
