Key Responsibilities
- Simulation Model Development: Create and refine vehicle simulation models using Dymola or similar tools to enhance race car performance.
- Data Analysis & Performance Optimization: Use Python scripting to automate processes and analyze simulation data, optimizing race setups.
- Simulation Correlation: Improve model accuracy by validating data against real-world performanceand refining predictions.
- Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) Simulators: Work with DIL simulators to enhance real-world handling and aerodynamic efficiency.
- Aerodynamic Performance: Assist in aeromap construction to optimize aerodynamic setup and efficiency for race conditions.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Motorsports Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in motorsports or the automotive industry.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in simulation modeling and data acquisition tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, and suspension tuning.
- Experience in Python programming for data analysis and automation.
- Ability to interpret simulation data and translate it into performance improvements.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with race engineers, drivers, and aerodynamicists to maximize performance.
- Passion & Commitment: Strong passion for motorsports, willingness to travel, and ability to thrive in a high-pressure racing environment.
