Description :
- Performs pre-close compliance and quality control audits on residential loans.
- Reviews files for compliance with regulatory, agency and investor requirements.
- Utilizes the Pre-Closing Review checklist to ensure critical data is correct, critical documents are correct, and that required documentation necessary for products and / or Investors are completed.
- Performs a timely and thorough review of all Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) documentation, including but not limited to the Good faith Estimate (GFE), Change of Circumstance (COC) and Truth in Lending Disclosure (TIL) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reviews Non-RESPA disclosures for completeness and accuracy.
- Verifies data in Encompass (Loan Origination System) is accurate and complete.
- Obtains verbal re-verification of employment on borrowers.
- Reviews credit documentation, mortgage insurance for accurate coverage, transmittal summaries, hazard insurance, appraisals, surveys and sales contracts.
- Works with Production, Underwriting and Closing teams, as needed.
- Must maintain regular attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
