We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mortgage Loan Originator (LO) Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting talented and hungry Loan Officers who consistently close 2-5 loans per month and are looking for a place to learn, be coached by well-known leaders in the industry, and to be held accountable in order to launch their career to the next level. You will play a critical role in growing our team by identifying, attracting, and onboarding talented Loan Officers who align with our company's values and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified Loan Officers who have the capability to self-source and close 2-5 loans per month.
- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, industry events, and direct networking, to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct phone interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and overall fit for the role.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with potential candidates and maintain a network of professionals in the mortgage industry to ensure a steady flow of talent.
- Job Matching: Identify candidates who align with the company’s goals and who possess the skills to succeed in the role of Mortgage Loan Originator.
- Onboarding: Collaborate with the HR and management teams to ensure a smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding, ensuring new hires are set up for success.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the success of recruitment efforts, ensuring that new hires are meeting performance expectations and loan volume goals.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor hiring strategies to ensure a competitive advantage in recruiting top Loan Officer talent.
- 3 years of experience in recruiting within the mortgage or financial services industry, preferably with experience in recruiting Loan Officers.
- Proven track record of recruiting Loan Officers who close 2-5 loans per month or more.
- Deep understanding of the mortgage industry, including loan products, industry regulations, and LO compensation structures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations related to recruiting and hiring in the mortgage industry is a plus.
