What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Legacy Night Club?
Overview
We are looking for a bilingual and/or English speaking bartenders to work on Friday‘s and Saturday’s as needed . The club will open Fridays for line dancing/ country music based and Saturdays is Mexican music based. Pay is hourly plus tips!
Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic beverages to customers according to their order. The bar serves beer,seltzers,margaritas,and occasionally shots. (no cocktails)
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Experience in bartending or related food service roles within nightclubs, fine dining establishments, or banquet settings.
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Proficient in using POS systems for efficient order processing and payment handling.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 15 per week
