🌈What You’ll Be Doing:
🧼 Daily Care & Assistance
• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, grooming, dressing, meals
• Monitor health, mood, and behavior—because even subtle changes matter
• Support medication administration and document like a pro
🧠 Behavioral & Emotional Support
• Implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs
• Use empathy and positive reinforcement to support residents through moments of distress
• Partner with families and clinicians to provide holistic care
🛑 Crisis & Safety Response
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for all residents
• Use de-escalation techniques and respond swiftly to emergencies
• Stay calm, collected, and compassionate in high-stress situations
📃Documentation & Team Communication
• Keep clear, accurate records
• Communicate shifts in behavior or health to supervisors
• Participate in care meetings and case reviews—because collaboration matters
🎨 Engagement & Empowerment
• Spark meaningful social moments, encourage expression and joy
• Educate residents and families about behavioral health and available resources
• Be a steady, familiar presence that residents can rely on
🫂 Who You Are:
You bring 5 years of caregiving experience, with 1-3 years in behavioral health environments
You’re patient, emotionally intelligent, and unfazed by challenging behaviors
You work well independently but thrive in a team
You respect dignity, privacy, and resident choice—always
You stay calm under pressure and act with empathy
You’re committed to showing up, speaking up, and stepping up
💼 Qualifications & Must-Haves:
TB clearance, First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
Cleared criminal background and fingerprinting per state regulations
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and be on your feet for long periods
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic care setting
