Astoria Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Support Daily Living Activities: Provide personal care assistance with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, positioning, and feeding.
- Resident Assistance: Aid residents with daily tasks and ensure their safety and comfort, enhancing their quality of life.
- Maintain Dignity and Respect: Ensure all residents receive the highest level of dignity, privacy, and respect while delivering care.
- Laundry & Housekeeping: Assist with tasks such as changing bed linens, laundry, and ensuring the environment remains clean and safe.
- Safety & Infection Control: Follow infection control procedures and standard precautions to maintain a safe environment for residents.
- Training & Development: Complete state-required training upon hire and annually to stay current with caregiving standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.
- Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Background Check: Must pass a state criminal background check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
- Health Screening: LIC 503 Health Screening Report required.
