As a Caregiver, you will assist residents with daily living activities and help maintain a comfortable, safe, and nurturing environment. You’ll work closely with our Wellness Team and contribute to the overall well-being of our community.
Position Summary:
The Caregiver is responsible for assisting residents in all areas of care as assigned by the Wellness Team, ensuring that each resident receives the highest level of attention and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, grooming, and personal care.
- Assist residents with mobility and ensure safe transportation to and from the dining room.
- Help with dining room duties, including serving meals and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in residents' rooms, and assist with laundry and housekeeping as needed.
- Follow infection control protocols for safe handling of equipment, soiled linen, and other materials.
- Document and report resident care according to community policies.
- Report any changes in residents' physical or mental status to supervisors.
- Support residents' dignity, respect their privacy, and promote their independence.
- Participate in resident activity programs and assist with special events.
- Provide consistent coverage for the front desk, including clerical support.
- Ensure emergency procedures, including fire safety and missing persons protocols, are followed.

- Maintain excellent attendance and adhere to the community’s policies and work schedule.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrate a positive, mature attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and colleagues, displaying a willingness to assist others.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy at all times.
- Be reliable, thorough, and accurate in performing assigned tasks.
- Physical ability to perform tasks, including occasional heavy lifting (up to 80 lbs).
- Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly when needed.
Other Requirements:
- Tuberculosis (TB) certification as required by the State.
- First Aid and CPR certification as required by the State.
- Clear criminal background check and fingerprint clearance.
- Must be at least 18 years old (or meet state minimum age requirements).
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- LIC 503 Health Screening Report.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with the elderly population is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills to enhance resident care.
