Position Summary:
Balance Assisted Living in Lodi, CA, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Med Tech to provide exceptional care to our residents. Responsibilities of the Med Tech:
- Medication Management: Administer and document medications/treatments as directed by residents' physicians.
- Resident Monitoring: Observe and document changes in resident conditions, needs, and preferences.
- Care Coordination: Communicate effectively with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties regarding resident care.
- Daily Living Support: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while maintaining a person-centered approach to care.
- Safety & Dignity: Ensure residents are treated with dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
- Infection Control: Follow infection control and safety procedures during all aspects of care.
- Training Compliance: Complete state-required training upon hire and annually.
Required Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year caregiving experience (preferred).
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Skills: Basic computer skills, ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
- Background Check: State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement required.
- Health Screen: LIC 503 Health Screening Report required.
