Job Title: Medication Technician

Position Summary:
Legacy Oaks of Sacramento is looking for a compassionate Medication Technician to ensure the safe delivery of medications and provide high-quality care to our residents. This role includes medication management, assisting with daily activities, and supervising caregiving staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist residents with daily activities, vital signs, wound care, and communication with healthcare providers.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and a comfortable environment for residents.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and report any changes in health status.
- Supervise and support caregiving staff during shifts.
- Order, store, and assist with medications as per facility policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with caregiving preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Tuberculosis (TB) certificate, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
- Clear criminal background check and fingerprint clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
- Potential exposure to blood/bodily fluids.
