Key Responsibilities:
- Call Management: Professionally handle incoming calls to schedule appointments for new and existing patients, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Routing & Coordination: Direct calls to the appropriate departments or individuals as necessary.
- Data Entry: Accurately collect and update patient and insurance information using Open Dental software.
- Cross-Training: Engage in cross-training across various departments, with opportunities for rotational duties.
- Customer Satisfaction: Meet scheduling targets and consistently deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
- High-Volume Call Handling: Manage a large volume of inbound calls with compassion and professionalism, addressing inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Telephone Etiquette & Problem-Solving: Demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette, active listening, and adept problem-solving skills.
- Outbound Calls: Make outbound calls to insurance companies and patients to verify eligibility, gather necessary information, and schedule appointments across multiple locations.
- Project Participation: Take part in projects, meetings, and complete additional tasks as directed by the leadership team.

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
