We are in need of a POSTPARTUM Registered Nurse - Per Diem at Tarzana, CA

Per diem | Day and Night Shift | 12hrs per shift

REQUIREMENTS:

*EPIC experience REQUIRED*

**We will be strictly enforcing the policy for NO artificial nails as well as nail length cannot extend more than 2mm beyond the end of the finger. Please make sure you are following this protocol as they will be monitoring this closely.**

- 1 year recent experience
- (AHA) BLS, NRP
- Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
- EPIC experience required, 3s/4s

**This is a "valley " ministry. Given its proximity and location, we require candidates that are within 25-30 mins from the ministry.

Orientation Details

• Candidate is responsible for completing up to 10 hours of specialty specific modules, independently before candidate will be cleared to work

Core Modules:

• RN/LVN: (9.9 hours)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care to postpartum mothers, including catheterization and IV insertion.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and perform tube feeding as necessary.
• Utilize EHR systems, such as Epic, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and recovery.
• Maintain BLS certification and adhere to safety protocols in all nursing practices.
