We will train you at our community!Serving our residents meals in a professional manner, carrying out the spirit of the Living in Style program. Must implement proper food handling and cleaning techniques to ensure optimal infection control. Conduct oneself in a manner which contributes to an environment conducive to the provisions of quality resident services. Responsible for set-up and cleaning of the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assist food servers with dining services to residents as needed.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.Greet and seat residents and guests in a courteous and professional manner.

Take meal and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service according to dietary needs.

Serve meals and beverages in an efficient, friendly, and respectful manner.

Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.

Follow all temperature tracking procedures, recording and monitoring food temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Label and properly store food and beverage items following facility protocols to maintain freshness and prevent waste.

Ensure proper rotation of perishable items to prevent spoilage and meet food safety standards.

Follow the clean-as-you-go policy, ensuring side stations, service areas, and dining areas are maintained throughout shifts.

Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and serving areas after each meal service.

Set up and prepare dining areas for meal service, including arranging place settings, refilling condiments, and ensuring all supplies are stocked.

Refill salt, pepper, sugar, and other condiments as needed.

Restock dining supplies and service stations at the end of each shift to ensure readiness for the next meal service.

Assist with special events and holiday meals, ensuring an enjoyable experience for residents and guests.

Assist and support fellow servers and kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.

Maintain personal and professional appearance, hygiene, and uniform standards.

Attend required training and in-service meetings as scheduled.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or leadership team.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
