We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Business Development Managers to join our teams and drive growth across our markets. They will be responsible for calling on both new and existing accounts, client and market research, growing the Legacy Restoration Brand, event attendance, building and enhancing client relationships, database administration, and other sales objectives as needed. The ideal candidate for this position will be both creative and detail oriented.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development Managers (BDM) primary function is engaging in outside business development, which requires the BDM to spend more than half of their working time away from the office presenting Legacy’s services.
As the BDM, you will play a critical role in expanding our client base, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will identify new business opportunities, cultivate partnerships, and develop strategies to enhance our market presence.
BDMs will market Legacy's services to the various clients to include but are not limited to: Facility Managers, Risk Managers, Independent Adjusters, Insurance Carriers, Insurance Brokers and Insurance Agents. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong sales and networking skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering consistent results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Understand the competitive advantages of using Legacy Restoration and gain the ability to effectively educate clients and customers about brand benefits
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, industry events, cold calling, daily marketing calls, and market research
-Identify and initiate contact with target customers such as insurance agents, insurance adjusters, plumbers, realtors, and commercial outlets
-Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share
-Responsible for creating and implementing targeted campaigns and promotional activities
-Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
-Utilize marketing software to document daily marketing and sales calls, track all lead activity and opportunities, upload contacts, send email campaigns, customize and print marketing collateral, leads, referrals, and notes
-Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitive activities
-Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders through one-on-one visits and organized events
-Work closely with the operations and project management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction
-Increase brand awareness by participating in marketing events such as professional associations, lunch-and-learns, and continuing education (CE) classes
-Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving and exceeding sales territory goals
-Support Legacy in Catastrophic situations, when called
-Attend promotion of assigned nationally sponsored events, including trade-shows, golf tournaments, social events, luncheons, and any other assigned Legacy marketing functions
-This position will require overnight travel of at least 10% of the time
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience preferred
-Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the restoration or construction industry
-Has an already built book of business that includes property managers, adjusters and other potential customers preferred but not mandatory
-Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
-Excellent communication, negotiation, times management, and presentation skills
-Highly motivated, extremely organized, proactive, and results-oriented
-Willingness to travel as needed
-Willing to work nights and weeks when needed
SKILLS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS/COMPETENCIES:
-Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
-Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
-Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
-Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
