Associate, Senior Associate, or VP - Capital Advisory Group
Our client, a well-established Capital Advisory Group, is looking to hire an Associate, Senior Associate, or VP (depending on experience) to join their growing team. This group focuses exclusively on capital raises (debt and equity) rather than M&A and has been successfully operating for years.
Role Overview:
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional in a debt capital markets group, mezzanine fund, or private equity firm looking to transition into an intermediary role. The hire will take on key execution responsibilities, working closely with senior leadership and supporting the firm’s growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of pitch materials, investor lists, and financial collateral
- Coordinate investor meetings and interface with C-suite executives, PE firms, and institutional investors
- Conduct financial modeling and company financial analysis to support capital raising efforts
- Work closely with senior leadership to ensure seamless deal execution
- Serve as a critical bridge between junior staff and the Director, helping to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 2-4 years in a debt capital markets group at a bank, mezzanine fund, or private equity firm
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong writing and communication skills (a top priority)
- Ability to interface with both operating companies and institutional investors
- Strong finance and accounting skills
- Self-sufficient and proactive in deal execution
- Ties to the Baltimore area preferred
Education & Certifications: CFA or CPA is a plus but not required
Compensation:
- Competitive base salary with discretionary bonus potential
- Compensation structure will vary based on experience and role level
