Responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks including data entry, maintaining financial records and preparing reports. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Responsible for banking transactions including reconciliations
- Maintains general ledgers by preparing journal entries
- Preparing financial statements
- Supporting month-end and year-end close
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Generate financial reports and assist with audits as required
- Assist with purchase card management and reconciliation
- Record refunds and charges
- Work according to established procedures, standards, and applicable laws
- Other duties as assigned by Controller
