Funeral Director

As a Funeral Director, you will focus on providing families with the best possible experience during one of the most difficult times of their lives.

You will work closely with families to help them plan and coordinate all aspects of the funeral, from the initial consultation to the final arrangements. At Legacy Succession Partners we believe in the importance of celebrating legacies and creating a personalized tribute for our loved ones

Responsibilities:

• Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements and provide guidance and support throughout the process.
• Coordinating with clergy, cemetery personnel, and other service providers to ensure that all aspects of the funeral go smoothly.
• Prepare the body for viewing and burial, including embalming, dressing, and casketing.
• Arrange for transportation of the body to the funeral home and to the cemetery or crematory.
• Provide grief support and counseling to families as needed.
• Manage funeral home operations, including scheduling and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Wisconsin state license as a funeral director and embalmer or the ability to obtain a state license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassion and empathy for grieving families.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with funeral home operations and industry standards.
