As a Forklift Operator, you will be utilizing an electric Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker to load, unload, pick, and replenish product from trucks, containers, or bulk locations within the warehouse. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.
Schedule And Compensation
- This will be a 4 month project starting around March 1st.
- 1 st Shift: Monday through Friday – 6:00am to 2:30pm
- Starting pay rate $22.00 per hour.
- Employees will receive a $2,000 stay bonus if they complete the project.
What To Expect As a Forklift Operator
- Operate an electric Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker to load, unload, pick, and replenish product from trucks, containers, or bulk locations within the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Willingness to be cross trained in different departments.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of Cherry Picker/Order Picker, Reach Truck, and/or Dock Stocker experience preferred
- One year of SAP experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds independently.
- Ability to work at various heights safely, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
- Ability to operate an electronic handheld scanner and tablet
- Must be punctual with a demonstrated attendance record
- Flexible to work overtime; including weekends
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
