Job Overview
Legacy Supply Chain is hiring an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to support our distribution center located in Ontario, CA. As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operational activities within the facility, deliver customer satisfaction by implementing continuous improvements, and obtain operational goals while maintaining financial goals. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.
Schedule and Compensation
- Tuesday through Friday - 5:00am to 3:30pm
- Saturday, Sunday, and Monday - 5:00am to 5:30pm
- Starting salary between $68,640-$70,000 per year
- Eligible for a quarterly bonus up to 2.5% annual salary
Job Details
What to expect as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor:
- Assist in the continuous effort of profitable growth through reducing costs and increasing revenue through operations efficiencies.
- Identify the needs of others by coaching, mentoring and assisting employees to improve their knowledge and skills; provide advice and guidance to staff members in the resolution of problems
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement
- Scheduling and manpower planning to effectively handle necessary requirements of the operation while managing labor cost and productivity.
- Knowledge of public warehousing, processes, quality control, cost and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees and customers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Transportation experience
- Detail oriented with ability to demonstrate skill in business analysis, and/or a track record in executing company standards successfully.
- Thorough knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory systems, supply chain management, logistics, customer service, reporting, system analysis, equipment, and warehouse functionality.
- Proven success in maintaining quality, service, and client relationships in a high-paced setting.
- Experience working in team oriented, multi-shift environment.
- Strong computer skills with proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiar with use of WMS systems (RF Technology).
