Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and managing project budgets and cost estimates.
- Support the development of cost plans and forecasts throughout project lifecycles.
- Monitor project expenditures and identify variances between actual costs and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct cost analysis and assist in value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Maintain and update cost databases and documentation for reference.
- Assist in procurement processes, including evaluating bids and negotiating contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in cost management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement processes, and project management principles.
