Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble high-quality cabinets, furniture, and millwork based on project specifications.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings to ensure precise craftsmanship.
- Operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, jointers, planers, and edge banders .
- Perform hand-finishing, sanding, and detailing to achieve smooth surfaces and refined aesthetics.
- Work with various materials, including solid wood, veneers, laminates, and composite panels .
- Ensure projects meet high-quality craftsmanship standards and client expectations.
- Install hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and other components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety procedures .
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other craftsmen to meet deadlines and production goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cabinetmaker, Woodworker, or Millworker in a custom cabinetry or furniture shop.
- Strong understanding of wood species, grain patterns, and finishing techniques .
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with precision.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery .
- Experience with custom joinery, edge banding, and veneer work .
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unique project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical training or certification in woodworking, cabinetry, or a related field.
- Experience in high-end residential or commercial millwork .
- Knowledge of CNC machining and cabinet software is a plus.
