Key Responsibilities :
- Review job packages thoroughly, including routing, blueprints, specifications, and documentation to understand process plans, part configurations, materials, tooling, and required equipment.
- Build machine setups per documented plans, utilizing knowledge of machining practices, material properties, and proper setup procedures.
- Operate CNC and conventional lathes, milling machines, and grinders , ensuring safe and efficient production of quality parts.
- Optimize machining processes by making adjustments to setups and operations to improve efficiency and part quality.
- Verify part conformance using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) and take corrective action as needed.
- Document and report deviations in machining processes via Process Discrepancy Reports (PDRs) and assist in root cause analysis.
- Train and mentor less experienced machinists to enhance technical competencies within the team.
- Follow all safety protocols, operational procedures, and quality standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
