Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D and 3D technical drawings and blueprints for construction, structural, and material layout projects .
- Interpret and revise architectural and engineering plans based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software to produce detailed schematics and shop drawings.
- Modify existing drawings based on client specifications, material constraints, and field conditions .
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices .
- Maintain organized documentation of all drawings, revisions, and project details.
- Support estimating and project teams by providing material take-offs and technical details.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Drafter in the construction, engineering, or building materials industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar drafting software .
- Strong understanding of construction methods, structural design, and material applications .
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and technical specifications .
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of concrete formwork, rebar detailing, or structural steel is a plus.
