Key Responsibilities :
- Production Equipment Maintenance : Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems on ice cream processing machinery, including mixers, pasteurizers, freezers, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
- PLC & Automation Troubleshooting : Diagnose and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and automation controls to minimize production downtime.
- Refrigeration & Temperature Control : Ensure proper operation of refrigeration, chilling, and temperature monitoring systems critical to ice cream production.
- Compliance & Safety : Maintain compliance with food manufacturing safety standards (FDA, SQF, HACCP) and national, state, and local electrical codes.
- Preventive Maintenance : Perform regular inspections, predictive maintenance, and calibration of electrical components to optimize efficiency and minimize breakdowns.
- Technical Documentation : Maintain accurate logs of system modifications, electrical repairs, and troubleshooting steps to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration : Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams to improve automation and efficiency in the ice cream production process.
