Key Responsibilities
- Electronic Assembly: Assemble electronic components and systems following schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions.
- Soldering: Perform precision soldering of components on circuit boards (e.g., through-hole and surface mount).
- Testing and Inspection: Test completed assemblies using diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality and compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and repair defects or malfunctions in electronic components or assemblies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, and inventory usage.
- Quality Assurance: Follow established quality standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in electronic assembly, soldering, and testing (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Skilled in using tools and equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering irons.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small components.
- Basic knowledge of ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly processes.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards or equivalent certifications.
- Familiarity with automated testing systems or software.
- Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and handle objects up to 25lbs
