- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate metal components.
- Operate a variety of fabrication tools, including saws, grinders, welders, and presses.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to specifications.
- Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using fabrication tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Welding certification (preferred but not required).
