Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the machine shop , ensuring production schedules and quality standards are met.
• Operate and oversee CNC and manual mills, lathes, grinders, and stamping equipment .
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of machinists, ensuring skill development and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to guide production.
• Perform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain precision and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and production teams to optimize processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of machines and tooling .
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Machine Shop Lead, Supervisor, or Senior Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in CNC programming, setup, and operation (G-code, CAM software experience preferred).
• Expertise in reading blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and precision machining techniques .
• Experience with metal stamping, forming, or sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team .
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail .
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certification in machining, manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience in high-volume production and precision metal stamping .
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for programming and tooling design.
