Key Responsibilities :
Equipment Maintenance : Identify, modify, adjust, and repair mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts and equipment.
Technical Proficiency : Read and interpret technical drawings or diagrams, including blueprints, schematics, and mechanical renditions.
Tool Utilization : Safely and correctly use a variety of power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
Reliability Improvement : Enhance equipment reliability to minimize downtime, improve efficiencies, and produce high-quality products to specification in a safe and efficient manner.
Procurement Participation : Participate in purchasing maintenance materials and outside technical services in accordance with established company protocols and procedures.
Preventive Maintenance : Assist in establishing and implementing a systematic preventive maintenance program with the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.
Failure Analysis : Investigate equipment failures and unexpected breakdowns, providing corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
Inventory Monitoring : Monitor parts requests to ensure adequate inventory and cost efficiencies are met according to the departmental budget.
Continuous Improvement : Lead maintenance-related continuous improvement tasks, reporting back to management with status updates.
Resource Facilitation : Facilitate the selection of appropriate resources (contractors, suppliers, etc.) to minimize costs and ensure on-time and on-budget completion.
Safety Compliance : Ensure, enforce, and adhere to all legislative requirements to minimize the risk of accidents and pollution.
Team Leadership : Constantly enhance the motivation and team spirit of all operation staff.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in electrical technology, mechatronics, engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience : Proven experience in maintenance supervision within a manufacturing environment, preferably on night shifts.
Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, mechanical, and robotics systems. Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical / mechanical / pneumatic / hydraulic schematics, and ladder / function block logic. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general math skills, including fractions and decimals. Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (e.g., Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff Twin Cat) and electric circuitry consisting of contactors, relays, main voltage / control voltage, limit switches, and proximity sensors is preferred.
Soft Skills : Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with effective interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented individual capable of time and project management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
