- Prepare metal surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and cleaning.
- Apply masking materials to protect specific areas from paint application.
- Assist in mixing and preparing paint according to specifications.
- Ensure surfaces are properly prepped to achieve a smooth, even coating.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of materials.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work closely with painters and other team members to meet production deadlines.
