Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect output samples using industry-appropriate methods to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Verify that assembly or production lines comply with established procedures and legal requirements.
- Review blueprints and specifications to ensure produced goods meet design criteria.
- Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing reworks and waste, and inputting data into the quality database.
- Train production teams on quality control measures to enhance product excellence.
- Propose improvements to production processes to boost efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor equipment usage to ensure safety and compliance with standards, discarding any that do not meet requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and radiographs to assess product specifications.
- Perform testing at various stages of the manufacturing line to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collect and compile statistical quality data for analysis and reporting.
- Assist in developing test methods and inspection plans to enhance quality assurance processes.
- Determine root causes of product defects and scrap, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Verify that all equipment is calibrated correctly to maintain measurement accuracy.
- Perform quality controls following Work Instructions (WIs) on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Suggest improvements to WIs to reduce scrap and improve finished product performance.
- Support production staff on WIs, quality, and process issues in collaboration with management.
- Create statistical analyses and reports on the quality of raw materials and finished products as required.
- Utilize and maintain measurement instruments according to WIs and safety standards.
- Monitor and suggest improvements to production recipes at various process stages.
- Audit operations and suggest enhancements to quality control tools used in the production line.
- Provide hourly reports to management via email.
Qualifications:
Skills:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, knowing when to seek assistance.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, Excel, and statistical software packages.
- Excellent understanding of problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

Education and Experience:
