What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Coordinator position at Legacy Treatment Services Group?
The Nurse Coordinator will be in verbal and/or electronic contact with the supervisory psychiatrist. Attends meetings as required. Conducts two one hour health groups per week. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumers served. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the consumer population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the consumers status in order to identify each consumers needs and provide the appropriate care, including age-related care, needed by the consumer group. Educates staff on medication and reviews medication logs.
The Nurse Coordinator will support 3 to 4 programs situated in Robbinsville, Wrightstown, New Egypt and Titusville. These programs are group homes in a community setting for adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Education/Experience:
Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required. Experience with children/adolescents. Must be willing to travel between locations.
