Irrigation Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction and irrigation systems, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain various types of irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages.
• Perform repairs on existing irrigation systems, including replacing damaged components.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to build and dig trenches for irrigation lines.
• Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation setups.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to the installation and repair of irrigation systems.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to dig trenches and build necessary infrastructure for irrigation systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues in irrigation systems.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
