What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Overnight Security Officer position at Legacy Vacation Club LLC?
Join the Crew Behind Epic Stays: Operations Analyst
At andCo Hospitality, we're all about turning vacations into stories worth telling. Ever had a trip so good you considered staying forever? We get that a lot. And we're looking for someone awesome to join our Florida-based corporate team to help make those moments happen across our resort properties in Florida, Nevada, Colorado, and New Jersey. From beachside hangs to mountain escapes, you'll help us make every experience memorable from behind the scenes.
As a Security Officer at andCo Hospitality, you’re more than just a presence — you’re the calm in the chaos, the eyes that never miss a beat, and the friendly force keeping our spaces safe, welcoming, and on-brand. You’ll help us protect the vibe (and the people), support smooth operations, and ensure our guests and team members feel secure, seen, and supported — all while staying true to our values of inclusivity, sustainability, and laidback luxury.
Here’s What You’ll Be Up To:
- Making the rounds (literally): Patrolling the property to keep things smooth, safe, and secure.
- Keeping an eye out: Unauthorized guests, unusual activity, or anything that feels off? You’re on it.
- Reporting like a pro: Creating detailed reports on incidents, safety issues, or unexpected events.
- Key master vibes: Managing key control and maintaining security integrity like it’s your superpower.
- Helping hands: From escorting guests and vendors to opening doors and safes, you’re there when needed.
- Tech-savvy fixes: Diagnosing and resetting door locks and safes, swapping out batteries when they call it quits.
- First on the scene: Providing CPR and basic first aid as our go-to first responder.
- Night shift magic: Assisting with late-night check-ins and verifications like the calm, collected pro you are.
- Being everywhere: Hitting designated patrol points and logging it all in our digital system, hourly.
- Filing a killer Daily Activity Report (DAR) every 15 minutes during your shift. No big deal, just detail-driven excellence.
- Doing what needs to be done — because you’re a team player, and that’s how we roll.
You’re Great Because:
- You bring the vibes — calm, alert, and always composed, even under pressure.
- You've got 6 months of security experience (bonus points if you’ve worked in hospitality).
- You’re certified: Adult and Child CPR, First Aid, AED, and a Florida Class 'D' Security License.
- You know your way around Microsoft Office and Excel — and you can actually write a clear, detailed report.
- You’re adaptable and accountable — you take initiative, own your work, and stay cool in a crisis.
- You communicate like a champ — listening, speaking, and writing with clarity and confidence.
- You work well with everyone — people of all backgrounds, identities, and styles are your kind of people.
- You’re flexible with your schedule (we're hospitality, after all), and you’re up for the occasional travel.
- You’re physically ready — you can be on your feet, move, lift, and handle all the physical aspects of the job with ease.
