POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for assisting the rooms team in completion of room turnover and maintaining the exterior of the resort to always be at guest ready presentation. Duties include but are not limited to the collection, organization and distribution of linen and terry, supporting the housekeeping team in various tasks, ensuring an efficient, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property. All while adhering to established quality standards.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with pressure washing and groundskeeping.
- Assist with inclement weather preparation, and recovery.
- Clean windows, doors, and building exteriors.
- Move furniture and appliances as directed.
- Confirm and store delivery orders.
- Complete help desk tickets as assigned.
- Supply suites with proper supplies in a timely manner.
- Operate golf carts safely, perform daily inspections, and ensure routine maintenance.
- Comply with all risk and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Remove soiled linens, trash, boxes, and recyclables from units.
- Ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste, recyclables, trash, and bulk waste.
- Properly dispose of used items from guests' visits.
- Maintain the cleanliness of corridors, stairwells, trash closets, and working areas.
- Walk all assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are free of linen, trash, or equipment.
- Keep storage closets clean and organized.
- Make linen and supply bags as directed.
- Perform inventories on linens and supplies or assist when needed.
- Deliver linen and supply bags to units.
- Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
- Report all lost and found items to the supervisor.
- Communicate with the leadership team regarding any discrepancies, concerns, or unusual situations.
