POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Safety & Security Manager, you will lead and manage all safety and security efforts at Legacy Vacation Resorts. Your expertise and leadership will ensure a safe and secure environment for our team members, guests, and properties. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest safety standards while promoting a guest-first mentality. Together, we’ll work to provide a seamless and safe vacation experience for all our visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and support the Safety & Security team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a proactive approach to safety.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety and security programs aimed at reducing incidents and ensuring the safety of both guests and staff.
- Monitor and continuously improve safety measures to create a secure environment across all resort properties.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory changes, and safety innovations to keep our resorts ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate with the Risk Management team to analyze site safety risks and ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal safety regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits, providing feedback and recommendations to improve safety protocols.
- Assist in accident investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up actions.
- Manage injury reports, general liability claims, and other safety/security matters, offering guidance as needed.
- Promote Legacy Vacation Resorts’ sustainability efforts and maintain knowledge of our green initiatives.
- Deliver exceptional service by creating a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and team members.
- Oversee the Lost and Found process, ensuring proper handling of items and inventory tracking.
- Foster a safety-first culture by leading by example and supporting team member development.
- Maintain safety-related inventories and equipment within budget guidelines.
