What are the responsibilities and job description for the GENERAL MANAGER position at Legacy Ventures Hospitality?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager for the Fairfield Inn Madison South. Sales & Marketing Direct the development and execution of strategic sales and marketing initiatives that lead to the achievement of : o Targeted RevPAR index goals o Room revenue and total revenue goals o Sales booking pace goals o Sales productivity goals o Participate in the daily and weekly revenue strategies o Support the ongoing sales effort by participating in the direct sales effort, and those supporting the sales team Financial & Accounting o Ensure proper flow-through goals are achieved for any revenue variance o Produce accurate and timely revenue and IBFC projections as required o Evaluate monthly financial statements and complete variance report which includes an analysis of revenues, expenses and 90-day forecasts o Comply with all management company accounting procedures Planning Develop annual business plans including : o Operating budget o Sales & Marketing plan o Capital plan Food & Beverage o Ability to oversee complimentary food & beverage operations and deliver superior service Other Areas o Achieve targeted guest service satisfaction goals o Ensure that all property preventive maintenance programs are in place o Ensure all Company and brand required training is executed in the appropriate time frame o Interview, hire, supervise, train, and counsel department managers in the efficient operations of their departments o Develop departmental improvement plans as may be required o Conduct regular visual inspections of the property and guestrooms to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness and service standards are in place o Self-starting personality with an even disposition to effectively communicate with guests, team members and community.
