DAY-TO-DAY OF A BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER

This full-time office admin position with our elderly care company requires weekend availability due to the manager's duty schedule.
As a Business Office Manager at our senior living community, you communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and discrepancies, ensuring compliance with payment terms and resolving any overdue payments. Additionally, you assist in payroll processing, managing direct deposits, or issuing physical paychecks to employees. In this office admin role, your time is spent liaising with residents and their families while discussing insurance coverage, claim statuses, and out-of-pocket expenses. You resolve discrepancies in insurance claims by following up with insurers or healthcare providers, educating residents and families about their insurance benefits, and helping them understand their coverage options. This administrative role is integral to the smooth financial operation of the community, fostering positive relationships with vendors, employees, and residents alike.


OUR SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY'S IDEAL BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficiency in utilizing personal computers and various office equipment
  • Strong basic mathematical skills
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver secretarial and clerical services within a senior housing environment, adhering to or surpassing the service standards set by Western States Retirement Communities
  • Willingness to work with the elderly
  • Possession of current TB test
  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications
