We are seeking motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our clients team as Energy Brand Associate in Wilkes Barre, PA. In this role, you will educate residential and commercial customers on their energy supplier options, helping them transition to environmentally friendly energy solutions while keeping their existing utility provider. This is a customer engagement and lead generation role – no selling is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in retail, community, and event-based settings to educate them about renewable energy options and supplier choices.
- Explain how energy deregulation works, ensuring customers understand that their utility provider remains the same while they can choose a more sustainable energy supplier.
- Provide clear and concise information on green energy programs, energy efficiency benefits, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist customers with enrollment and account transitions, making the switch to a more eco-friendly energy supplier simple and seamless.
- Gather customer information and generate leads, ensuring all data is accurately recorded for follow-ups.
- Build trust and rapport with customers, answering questions and addressing any concerns related to energy suppliers, billing, and deregulation policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members and energy program managers to ensure program success and meet engagement goals.
- Stay informed on market trends, energy industry regulations, and supplier incentives to effectively educate customers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in customer service, lead generation, brand ambassadorship, or public outreach preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain energy supplier options clearly and effectively.
- Passion for renewable energy, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency.
- Comfortable approaching and engaging customers in various settings, including retail locations, events, and community spaces.
- Ability to meet lead generation and customer engagement targets while maintaining professionalism.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven with a positive and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive program success.
- Must be available for full-time hours, including some evenings and weekends based on program needs.
