Job Description: Reporting directly to the General Lab Supervisor, the Laboratory Assistant is responsible for assisting with the overall quality and success of laboratory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and accession specimens
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate and manage laboratory supplies
- Assist with various administrative tasks
- Follow GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and report any non-conformity of SOPs to the Supervisor
- Assist the laboratory team in completing assigned projects
- Maintain best-in-class client experience standards
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field
- 1 to 2 years of experience, ideally in the healthcare or life sciences space
- Extremely strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of issue spotting and escalating issues as necessary
- Demonstrated success in completing tasks on time
