SUMMARY
Under the direction of LASP’s Director of Operations, the Law and Technology Specialist will work collaboratively with the IT and Grants Compliance Specialists at LASP to enhance performance and compliance with federal, state, and local grants and contracts while also providing crucial IT support. This position will ensure that LASP adheres to all terms and conditions of its funding sources and maintains efficient IT and Compliance operations. The Law and Technology Specialist will also identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, acting as a creative thought partner to help accelerate LASP's overall technology landscape by selecting and employing technology systems.
The position is full-time and based in Norristown at LASP's Central Administration office. Staff currently work on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be expected to perform in-office work and be able to work remotely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Provide general IT help desk support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues including:
- Tier 1 help desk escalations
- Create accounts and configure hardware for onboarding process
· Troubleshoot and address minor equipment malfunctions
· Develop and deliver regular staff training on IT tools and best practices
· Assist in management and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks and servers
· Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
· Stay current with relevant technology trends and compliance requirements in the legal aid sector
· Collaborate with staff to develop and implement new tech enhanced service delivery
· Assist in the maintenance of the LegalServer case management system
· Assist in generating and analyzing data reports from LegalServer to support program evaluation and reporting
· Assist in maintenance and updates of the grants management system, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
· Assist in creation and maintenance of data dashboards for internal use and external reporting
· Assist in supporting compliance efforts by monitoring and reporting on key metrics and requirements
· Collaborate with LASP’s grants and compliance specialist to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains
Preferred Experience:
· Windows 10 & 11, Office 365 and Office 2013 products
· PC hardware, printers, scanners, computer peripherals
· Client PC connectivity - ethernet, TCP/IP
· Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing issues created by viruses
· Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users
· 2 years experience working in a Windows networked environment
· Experience creating data dashboards utilizing Power Bi or similar data visualization tools
· Experience navigating database management tools
· Previous experience using legal technology, case management systems, and research software.
Preferred Education and/or Certifications:
· Associate degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
· CompTIA A for general IT support skills
· CompTIA or Microsoft certification for IT service management
· Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals for cloud and Office 365 expertise or Intune training
· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) for IT 
· Security knowledge or comparable certification

SUPERVISOR: The Law and Technology Specialist will report directly to LASP’s Director of Operations but will have significant interaction with other LASP staff and will consistently work on projects with the IT and Grants and Compliance Specialists.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS LASP offers a competitive total compensation package. The salary range for this position is $45,500 - $54,600. Salary is commensurate with experience.
